Conducted in a span of over three months, Mr. Prashant V Wagh, VP, along with two other VPs were chosen for this elite honour. Before the big day, his family received a bouquet and his new Designation at their home in Pune. Before the coveted day, he moved into the Company's Guest House in Mumbai.
The D-Day
On D-Day, he reached Karvy's Head office in Mumbai in a special chauffeur-driven car. He was handed over the new visiting card that gave him a sense of the seriousness of the top job. The entire day was meticulously planned as Mr. Wagh spent the day with the top brass of the leadership team and put forth his thoughts on key areas.
A Plethora of Learning
While sitting on the CEO's chair was obviously the highlight of the day, managing and presiding over the National ConCall was the icing on the cake. Sharing his thought process on 3P's - People, Product, and Process, Mr. Wagh spoke with the Executive Committee and discussed the challenges from a CEO's perspective.
The entire experience was so new for Mr. Wagh - the moment when everyone was listening to his speech which was followed by the Q & A session. Mr. Wagh considers this experience as one of the biggest learning curves of his life and will cherish the memories forever.
